Note: Brad Schrader by no means claims sole responsibility for the above listed projects. Although working autonomously, Brad's key to success has been achieved by being a strong team player and leader, working together with all stakeholders rather than individually.

Brad Schrader MAIPM

Director

Since 2002, Brad has been involved in various projects as both a team member and leader liaising with consultants, overseeing construction and project managing building, subdivision, redevelopment and heavy civil works throughout Western Australia.

A full member of the Australian Institute of Project Management, Brad started his career in the public service at the Department of Conservation and Land Management (now DEC), he then moved into private practice working for Plan E as a consultant to the land development, public redevelopment and building industries. In 2011, the opportunity arose to switch to the resource industry (mining and oil & gas) through Killarnee Civil & Concrete Contractors. Expanding his understanding of construction, Brad honed his project management skills as both a contractor and principal for Killarnee successfully completing all projects in May 2013.

This provided the ideal timing for pala management to take shape and commence trading to the wider industry. Previously a service provider for select clients, pala management with the appointment of Brad Schrader now steps into the light as a true contender on the Western Australian project / contract management scene.

Approach

Strong negotiation skills and the ability to consult, provide advice, facilitate discussion, resolve conflict and to develop relationships with all stakeholders, is key to Brad's approach and success in project and construction management.

Being an avid problem solver and decision maker with the ability to analyse, define the problem, evaluate alternatives has ensured his clients have outstanding and innovative solutions to complex issues and disputes. In addition, Brad maintains positive relationships with all parties involved resulting in repeat business and future project success.

With his in-depth understanding of the financial implications of a contract and the accounting principles that impact operations, Brad fully appreciates how decisions affect the bottom line. Coupled with his understanding of the project life-cycle with a 360 degree perspective, provides Brad with a holistic approach focused on all aspects of project and contract management, hence adding insight and value to the project and its success.
